SCORE CIMSA FK UNRI

 

Hello CIMSA! Standing Committe on Research Exchange (SCORE) was successfully held SGP 1 or SCORE GOES PUBLIC 1 on 26th April 2020. It was our honor to participate on one of SCORE’s mandatory activity. At our local, this activity was held online due to the COVID – 19 situation that occured around the world.

SCORE CIMSA FK UNRI is a standing committe that work on research activities, research promotion, research exchange, and exchange promotion. We found out the need to increase the knowledge and awareness of SCORE’s members about research. To overcome this problem, SCORE CIMSA FK UNRI held a training about research to increase the members knowledge and to increase capacity building for SCORE CIMSA FK UNRI’s memberss.

SCORE GOES PUBLIC were prepared 14 days before the activity. The proposal was sent to the lecturer and there are no difficulties that occured. We contacted the lecturer and he agreed to give a lecture, Sir Rahmat Azhari Kemal, M.Si,  about basic reasearch to the memberss. The activity was supposed to be held on 25th April 2020, but the lecturer has emergency situation that can’t be left so he asked to postponed the activity until 26th April 2020. On 26th April 2020, we succesfully held the SGP 1 acitivity with the members. The first activity was an opening by LOCO CIMSA FK UNRI, and then LORE CIMSA FK UNRI, and lastly the project officer on this activity.

 

The main event of this activity was the lecture that given by the lecturer. The theme for this activity is Guideliness for Basic Research. Sir Rahmat explained how to start a research proposal. He aslo explained why we need to do reasearch, how to make a good title based on the problem of the research, the purpose of a reasearch, and how to write a good research background.

The uniqueness of his presentation that he explained to the members about research as we were a final level students. He also gave the example of the reasearch from the medicine world. He also asked the members how to write a title based on the problems that are given.

At the end of the session he asked the members to write a title from the quizz that he gave. The activity was fun and the members participation made it more fun. The members are interested by his presentation. The activity ended after the questions are all answered, and there were a photo session with Sir Rahmat. After the photo session the members played a game that were prepared by LORE. And thats how the event ended.
