CIMSA UNRI successfully held NOTABLES (Now We Talk About Baby Blues Syndrome) on Friday, 30th June 2023 from 4 p.m to 5 p.m. This activity was held online with live broadcast on Instagram @cimsaunri.
NOTABLES is organized by SCORA CIMSA FK UNRI which focuses on Mother’s Mental Health, specifically about baby blues syndrome. The incidence of baby blues syndrome in Indonesia is between 50-70% of postpartum women. Baby blues syndrome is a common sequel to child birth, usually occurring in 70% of women within one year. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the general public, especially pregnant women and their family about baby blues syndrome.
Prior to carrying out the NOTABLES activity, CIMSA FK UNRI held pre-activity training for all committees to increase the committee’s basic knowledge about baby blues syndrome. This training was held on Monday, 26 June 2023 from 8 p.m until finished. The material was provided by a PETRA from SCORA CIMSA FK UNRI, Grace Desvia Chandra. This training also has a pre-test and post-test to find out the committee’s knowledge before and after the material is given.
Then, it was followed with the main NOTABLES activity, that is a live broadcast on Instagram @cimsaunri, which began with an opening and was hosted by the moderator, Najmi Khairussyifa. After the opening, it was immediately followed by the presentation of the first material by dr. Levina Mutia who is a CIMSA FK UNRI Alumni. Then followed by the presentation of the second material by Yuri Etika Ayu Muktia, SH from Resister Indonesia. After that it was followed by a question and answer session. This activity was finished on time, which ended with a closing by the moderator.
The night after the event ended, a quiz about baby blues syndrome was uploaded on @cimsaunri Instagram story. The quiz consists of five questions and is uploaded separately with each question given three answer choices.
That is all the series of activities from NOTABLES. It felt very short, because the main activity was only held for 1 hour. With the end of this NOTABLES activity, we hope to broaden the audience’s insight, especially the general public and especially pregnant women and their closest families regarding baby blues syndrome. We also hope that the activity regarding Maternal Mental Health will be held even better for the next years.
Thank you, CIMSA!
