Hello CIMSA!
CIMSA UNRI successfully held Exchange Fair on Saturday, 24th April 2021 from 9.30-12.00. Exchange Fair was held online via Zoom Meeting due to the COVID-19 situation that is happening around the world.
Based on an interview with 10 freshmans, it was concluded that 8 out of 10 freshmans did not want to participate in the exchange program because they didn’t understand the procedure, and also a lack of motivation from themselves. This lack of interest from student to participate in the exchange program both research exchange and professional exchange shows the importance of Exchange Fair and talkshow about exchabge study to improve medical student’s knowledge and interest in exchange programs.

SCOPE(Standing Committee on Professional Exchange) and SCORE (Standing Committee on Research Exchange), which is under CIMSA(Center for Indonesian Medical Students Activity), has an annual activity that was held on 19-25th of April this year called “EXCHANGE FAIR”. This activity’s purpose is to improve the motivation of students to participate in research exchange and professional exchange programs.
Before the Exchange Fair started, there was a training for the Organizing Committee(OC). This training was held on Sunday, 18th April 2021 from 14.00-14.55 WIB. This training was attended by all of OC and the speaker was CIMSA trainer, Alif Mirciano Farizal from SCORE.The training was about introduction and explaination about Exchange Fair activity.

In this activity SCOPE and SCORE CIMSA UNRI held an air campaign to promote professional and research exchange on social media, which is CIMSA UNRI’s Instagram @cimsaunri. On the talkshow, we invited former SCORE Outgoing to Poland dr.M.Lingga Primananda, to share his experience during his exchange, and gave motivation and knowledge for the participants to join exchange program in CIMSA UNRI. We also invited national speaker, Intan Dwikarlina, as National Officer on Research Exchange(NORE) Assistant for Incoming,and Audrey Iona Janice as Vice National Exchange Officer(NEO) for Internal Affairs to further give explaination about proffesional and research exchange.The speakers also explained about how to apply for exchange and this activity was ended by a quiz that was held on @cimsaunri instastory. This quiz contains questions that answers can be found in the webinar that was held on 24th April 2021. This quiz also serves as a post test for the webinar participants.
